F is for Fish

Life seems to have got in the way of stitching this week but I have now finished F.

I was watching the news last night and they showed photos of the Armed Forces Muster at Windsor as part of the Jubilee celebrations.

It reminded me that the current challenge over at Crafts by Carolyn is particularly relevant as it requires you to make something which includes bunting.  It really is a great choice of challenge as bunting can be used for so many different celebrations, not just the Jubilee.  The challenge is called "Put the Flags out" and this is the card that was made as an example of what could be done.

E is for Elephant

Ahhh, look at Nellie, isn't she lovely?

On to F now.

D is for Duck

The latest completed square on the afghan alphabet blanket.

C is for Crayon

I am getting on a roll now but am surprised how long it is taking me to stitch these.

B is for Balloon

The second completed square

A is for Apple

This is the first square of the baby alphabet afghan blanket that I am currently stitching.  Only 25 to go before July!!!

Another creation using my favourite Marianne Createables butterfly die and using up some of the snippets in my offcuts box.  The butterfly and dots are cut from a leftover piece of glitter card and the sentiment and layer cut with more snippets and using a Spellbinders dies.

I have entered it in the following challenges:

2 Sisters Challenge:  Anything Goes
Anything Goes:  Things with Wings
Creative Craft Challenges:  Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly:  Anything Goes
Pixies Crafty Workshop:  Snippets #19
Simon Says Stamp:  Anything Birthday
Sundays with Chrissy:  Things with Wings
