Off to find Santa

I was thinking of cards that could be made fairly simply and quickly ready for sale at church over the next few weeks and came up with this design which wasn't particularly quick as there are lots of parts to cut out, emboss and assemble.  Nevertheless, I liked it and so have made a pack of five to add to the other packs.

I used some paper I bought a few years ago, some white embossed pieces of card and some black to add some dimension to the layers as well as co-ordinating with the reindeer.

I am entering this in the following challenges

Forever Friends :  Christmas is coming
Totally Gorjuss Challenge 106:  Christmas Traditions
Pile It On Challenge: Traditional Christmas
Cupcake Craftroom:  Sweet Christmas
Paper Pretties:  PCW180 Non Traditional Colour
Crafyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge#46:  Whatever lights your candle
Papercrafting Journey PCJ23:  Embossing

  1. I like that card, Liz. He's a nice reindeer isn't he? I agree it won't be a quick put together one though.

  3. Hi Liz: What a very cool way to outline Prancer! The Black on your backgrounds is really powerful. I've not seen this before and yet it stands out in ways that speak to Christmas and what it's about. I can really see the movement with the black. I like alot what you did with the background split. Good luck in your challenges, and of course ours, at Forever Friends. Divine Love, Samara
